I like to think I’m pretty easy going. Not much gets me all riled up. For some inexplicable reason though, corkage fees at restaurants really tick me off. Especially when restaurants charge upwards of $35 per bottle. For starters, I was bringing a bottle in order to save a little money but still enjoy the restaurant, this screws me over. If my bottle was so special and expensive that it’s worth more than $35 then I’m going to feel extra ripped off that I have to pay another $35 on top of my already expensive bottle of wine, that the restaurant likely doesn’t even have.
